Ewyas Harold is a rural school, situated in a thriving village in beautiful countryside. It has attractive buildings and benefits from a large playing field. It caters for children aged from 5-11 from the village of Ewyas Harold and surrounding communities. The school has an excellent record of success in the local sports events but participation and enjoyment by all children at whatever level is seen as having greater importance. A wide variety of recorded music is used for listening and appreciation, as well as for accompanying movement. The musicians have the opportunity to perform at the school concerts and the Herefordshire School's orchestra. There are a wide range of after-school activities throughout the year when the children have the chance to develop skills and interests in such things as football, netball, cricket, tennis, and gymnastics among others. The school aims to give its pupils the opportunity to succeed and feel valued in a safe and stimulating environment.
